Kipouries are a very small village in northern Chios in road distance of about 36 kilometers from the town of Chios. The average elevation of the village is 340 meters above sea level. Kipouries considered one of the "villages of Pellinaion", the highest mountain of the island. Nearest settlement is the village Fita at road distance 2.4 km (linear distance less than a half mile) to the north and high. West, low under Kipouries is the ravine of the river Malagkioti. The village is known for its large stone square.
